The official Sonic The Hedgehog account has announced that Sonic Central 2024 will hosted tomorrow, September 24, at 9 AM PST and 12 PM EST. The live stream will premiere on YouTube and Twitch. Players can expect a” sneak peek” of some of their “upcoming projects, partnerships and events happening through 2025”.
What to Expect from Sonic Central 2024?
Regarding games, we already know that Sonic x Shadow Generations will arrive on October 22, 2024, and Sonic Central 2024 could feature announcements revolving around the upcoming title.
Moreover, there were rumblings about Sonic Frontiers 2 being in development back in April 2024, and many insiders claimed that the game could be released under a different name but would follow a gameplay style similar to Frontiers. However, none of it has been officially confirmed, so we don’t know whether this untitled project will receive an announcement at Sonic Central 2024.
Additionally, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has been confirmed for December 20, 2024, so fans can expect something about the live-action movie.
