Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 may be in development, but that doesn’t mean updates for the current title is finished. Developer Saber Interactive has announced the official roadmap for Year 2 of Space Marine 2
Starting with the Anniversary Update on September 4, Year 2 will feature new game modes, operations, arenas, and more. Most of which will be completely free for all players throughout the rest of 2025 and 2026.
Space Marine 2 – Year 2 Roadmap Details
As mentioned, the new updates will come starting on September 4 with Patch 10, the game’s largest update to date. From there, there are five more major updates planned through Q2 2026.
On September 4, players will get:
- New PvE Mission
- New PvP Mode: Helbrute Onslaught
- New PvP Arena
- New PvE Mode: Stratagems
- 3 New Weapons
- Majoris Enemy: Chaos Spawn
- Chaos Armour Pack
Patch 11 in Q4 2025 will come with a new PvE mission, new mission pickups, and stratagems such as new rewards and battlefield conditions.
Moving into 2026, Patch 12 includes a new mission, the new Techmarine class and its weapon the Omnissian Axe, the Battle Barge expansion, and more stratagems. Patch 13 gives a new mission, a progression update, and a new terminus enemy. Both are expected in Q1 2026.
The last free updates will come in Q2 2026, and sees two more updates for the game that feature two PvP Arenas, PvP stratagems, general stratagems, and a new siege map. Lastly, for those with the game’s Season Pass, there will be four champion packs, four cosmetic packs, and a chapter pack. The first two packs of the season pass launch alongside the free update on September 4.
