Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches next week, and based on reviews thus far (check out ours here), it’s a pretty good time. However, the PC version isn’t actually the most feature-packed on the market. According to PCGamesN, the frame rate is capped at 60 frames per second, and there’s no support for ultrawide aspect ratios.

High-dynamic range (HDR) is supported, but there’s only a single slider to adjust – no maximum luminance setting for finer control – and you must play in fullscreen. However, running the highest possible resolution requires borderless windowed mode. On the bright side, the keyboard and mouse controls are apparently “fantastic” with rebinding available.

Konami hasn’t really dived into the PC version’s features ahead of launch, and it’s unknown when it will address these issues. Granted, it poured significant amounts of time into updating the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 on all platforms, so time will tell.

In the meantime, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches on August 28th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with Digital Deluxe Edition owners getting access on August 26th.
