Konami has seen great success with Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake, and as the two renew their agreement, there’s hope for more remakes. However, all eyes are on the next mainline title, Silent Hill f, developed by NeoBards Entertainment and coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Add PlayStation 5 Pro to the list, with the game’s PlayStation Store listing carrying the “Enhanced” tag. Of course, the developer hasn’t specified what fans can look forward to, but given the PC requirements, it’s safe to expect some use of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution for 4K upscaling. Here’s hoping the results are better than with Silent Hill 2 remake.

A release date for Silent Hill f has yet to be announced, though, with its rating in South Korea last January, it could arrive later this year. The story follows student Shimizu Hinako in Ebisugaoka, who must battle against the fog’s terrifying monstrosities while making a choice between “beauty” and “madness.” Check out thoughts on the title and franchise from writer Ryukishi07 and creature designer kera for more details.
