Bethesda has released a new update for The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. Bringing up the game to version 1.1, the update brings with it a host of fixes for various bugs, some that might even cause crashes for players. The update is currently only available on the beta branch of the Steam version of Oblivion Remastered, with more platforms getting it on June 11.
The company has also announced that another update will be coming. While the first update focuses on bug fixes for quests and quality-of-life fixes, the second update, slated for later, will focus on improving the game’s overall performance. More details about the second update will be revealed once the studio is closer to releasing it. For more details about the first update, check out the complete patch notes below.
“Thanks for all your excitement and feedback since the launch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered,” wrote the studio in its announcement of the patch. “We are actively working on two separate updates to be launched in the coming weeks, both of which will come to our Steam Beta first, before being released to all other platforms.”
Players interested in testing the update out can sign up for it by simply switching to the beta branch of Oblivion Remastered through Steam. In the betas window for the game’s properties, players have to pick the [beta] option in the drop-down menu to get access to the update.
