Following up on Gearbox Entertainment CEO Randy Pitchford having confirmed earlier this month that Borderlands 4 would be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 3, the studio has now released a new trailer for the game. The trailer, which you can check out below, gives us a look at what the looter shooter will look like on the Switch 2.
The minute-long trailer gives us a look at some fast-paced action with smooth frame rates, while also showing off some of the different kinds of enemies that players will get to take on, including epic boss fights, regular soldiers, and everything in between. Through this, the trailer also showcases some of the strange weapons that players will be able to get their hands on.
Pitchford had previously confirmed that the Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 won’t cut any of the content from the other platforms, and that the title will run at “mostly around 30 frames per second”. He also stated that players might experience a few dips in the frame rate when things get too intense, as well as when hosting a co-op session while playing in handheld mode.
Borderlands 4 is also coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, where it will launch a month earlier on September 12.
