Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds 2 is out this Fall, arriving just before Halloween and offering a big new adventure for role-playing game fans to sink into. That is if they can pay the price because the sci-fi title is the first Xbox-published title announced to cost $79.99.
That’s for the Standard Edition, with the Premium Edition costing $99.99 and offering up to five days of early access. You also get the DLC pass for two post-launch expansions, a digital artbook, soundtrack, and the Corporate Appreciation Premium Pack, which offers Golden Moon Man armor, a helm, melee and ranged weapons, and the Golden Sprat pet.
Pre-orders will also receive the Commander Zane Pack, which includes a themed armor skin, pistol, dagger, helmet and Earth Directorate drone pet. Of course, it’s also playable on day one for Game Pass, but you can upgrade to the Premium Edition for $29.99 to receive early access and the pre-order bonuses.
The Outer Worlds 2 launches on October 29th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
