Konami will release a Switch 2 version of Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars alongside the console’s launch on June 5, the company announced.
Pre-orders for the physical edition are now available in Japan at retailers such as Rakuten Books, revealing the physical edition to be shipping on a game-key card that requires an internet connection to download the full game.
The Switch 2 version will run in wide quad high-definition (2560×1440) in TV mode and full high-definition (1920x1080p) in handheld mode, both at a frame rate of 60 frames per second. An upgrade from the Switch version will not be available, and save data from the Switch version is not supported or transferrable.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars first launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store on March 6.
