At the time of writing, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is still a week away from its release. However, footage has surfaced online showcasing what could be the post-credits ending in the film. Warning: spoilers ahead.
The footage surfaced on 4chan and showed Sonic surrounded by Metal Sonics, with Amy seemingly coming to Sonic’s rescue with her Piko Piko hammer. You can watch the footage here.
As pointed out by those who have watched the footage, it looks more like a post-credits scene than a scene in the main film, mainly because of how Amy introduces herself and the scene setting up the next film’s future enemy, which is Metal Sonic.
Of course, the footage can be entirely fake, too, as, at the time of writing, the film was only seen by a limited number of people and was, therefore, hard to verify.
For now though, we’ll just have to wait and see ourselves on December 21, 2024, when the film releases worldwide.
