S-Game debuted 22 minutes of new gameplay for Phantom Blade Zero, its upcoming hack-and-slash action RPG for PS5 and PC. While there’s no release date, it does showcase protagonist Soul’s abilities and the different weapons. Check it out below courtesy of IGN.
There are also some new boss fights, including Wan Jun “Coppermaul”, who attacks with a giant mace and Red Wraith, an agile combatant who leaps all over the place. Some of the more notable weapons wielded by Soul include Seamless Death, a pair of bladed rings which can act as homing projectiles. The gameplay culminates in a fight against the Chief Disciple of the Seven Stars, a previously revealed boss (though there’s more context on the faceless fighters beforehand).
Phantom Blade Zero is in development for PS5 and PC, though an Xbox Series X/S version hasn’t been ruled out. It’s reportedly targetting a Fall 2026 release, with a date still to be announced this year. S-Game has previously stated that the story will take 20 to 30 hours for players to finish.
