Project LLL, the new “massively multiplayer online tactical shooter” currently in development for consoles and PC from publisher NCSOFT and development subsidiary BigFire Games, will be officially titled CINDER CITY, the companies announced.
CINDER CITY will feature “dynamic- high-fidelity graphics” in a “seamless open world” powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game is an alternate history science-fiction story where 23rd century future technology intersects with the 21st century. Set in a post-apocalyptic Seoul modeled after real-world locations such as Samseong-dong and Nonhyeon-dong, it promises realistic combat mechanics that “authentically replicate” firearm operations.
“The title CINDER CITY represents future humanity’s struggle against a grave crisis to restore hope and save the city from the ashes,” said BigFire Games CEO Jaehyun Bae in a statement. “Our entire team is fully committed to creating and delivering a game that will exceed the expectations of players around the globe.”
NCSOFT also launched an official website, Twitter account, Facebook page, and YouTube channel for the game.
