Total shipments and digital sales for Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! have surpassed 1.5 million units, Konami announced.
Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! launched for Switch on November 16, 2023 in Japan, and was last reported on December 21, 2023 to have shipped and digitally sold one million units. This latest entry is set on Earth, which is represented as a spherical map for the first time in the series, and features properties and local products that highlight the characteristics of regions across the world. And transportation methods and events are loaded with new elements.
To celebrate the new milestone, both Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! and predecessor Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! are currently on sale via Nintendo eShop at a 30 percent-off discount price of 4,851 yen each until January 15, 2025.
