    Regardless of whether it actually is sustainable or good for the industry, I think we can all agree for that the consumers, Game Pass is a pretty good deal. You get a lot of gaming for your buck. Well, the amount of buck might be going up again, if a new notification spotted on the xCloud website is anything to go by.

    Originally posted by @redphx.com on BlueSky and then spotted by Reddit user Hot-Cause-481, a new notification has been added to background code for the xCloud website. Among other notifications such as “GamePassMarketingMobile” and “DownloadCompleted”, @redohx.com claims this new line has been added: “SubscriptionPriceIncrease = SubscriptionPriceIncrease”.

    If true, the implication is that Microsoft is considering another price hike for Game Pass, of which xCloud is a part of.

    The last increase occurred in July of last year, so this would probably be around the time Xbox would be gearing up for another price bump.
