Jade Raymond, the founder of Haven Interactive Studios, which was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment in March 2022, has left the company, according to a Bloomberg report.
While Sony Interactive Entertainment leadership did not provide a reason for Raymond’s departure, it came several weeks after an external test for its upcoming online shooter Fairgames (which is seemingly no longer stylized Fairgame$), according to people with knowledge of the matter, who asked to remain anonymous as they are not authorized to speak publicly. Some developers at the studio were reportedly concerned about the game’s reception and progress.
“Jade Raymond has been an incredible partner and visionary force in founding Haven Studios,” a PlayStation spokesperson told Bloomberg. “We are deeply grateful for her leadership and contributions, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter.”
The spokesperson added that Sony Interactive Entertainment is “committed to supporting Haven Studios and excited to continue the journey” with new co-studio heads Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-Francois Sapinski.
According to the people, Fairgames was originally slated to release this fall, but had been delayed to spring 2026.
