Big DIstraction, a new studio founded by AAA games industry veterans with a vision of “fun, feel, and performance,” has announced LORT, a cooperative roguelite action game for up to eight players set in a cursed fantasy world. It will launch for PC via Steam in Q4 2025.
“We are a group of internet-raised game devs who got tired of the AAA industry consistently letting down players and developers,” said Big Distraction in a press release. “Everyone at our company plays games, is part of the culture, and just wants more experiences where we can have fun with our friends in a lower stress, highly co-operative environment. LORT is our first project as a team and we are excited to get our game into player’s hands in Q4 2025, less than two years since we started development.”
