    Famitsu Sales: 8/25/25 – 8/31/25 [Update]

    Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for week of August 25, 2025 to August 31, 2025.

    Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater for PlayStation 5 was the highest selling new single SKU of the week, opening at 63,585 retail sales.

    It was followed by Super Robot Wars Y, which sold 60,532 units on Switch and 30,969 units on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of 91,501 retail copies sold.

    Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar also started strong, with 46,586 units on Switch and 18,148 units on Switch 2, totaling at 64,734 retail sales.

    On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 41,957 units, the Switch family sold 20,589 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 8,304 units, the Xbox Series family sold 389 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 16 units.
