Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been a big hit for debut developer Sandfall Interactive, having received widespread acclaim and sold over 1 million units in just three days, despite also being available on Game Pass. In fact, the turn-based RPG is also enjoying a continuously growing audience on PC.
On the day of its release, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hit a peak of over 51,000 players on Steam, and that number has more than doubled since then. As per SteamDB, over the weekend, the game hit a new peak of 121,422 concurrent players on Steam.
That means it has overtaken the CCU peaks of the likes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (103,329), Divinity: Original Sin 2 (93,701), Metaphor: ReFantazio (85,961), and the recently-released Assassin’s Creed Shadows (64,825), among others.
