The full PC specs for DOOM: The Dark Ages, the medieval prequel to the rebooted series, have been officially revealed by Bethesda and id Software. The full specs were announced just after an extensive gameplay preview was shown off during the January 2025 Xbox Developer Direct.
The developers tout the game’s environments as the “largest ever,” and say their “most ambitious title yet” will set a new standard in visual fidelity and performance. For PC players that want to reign in hell, here’s the full breakdown of requirements you’ll need to play DOOM: The Dark Ages.
DOOM: The Dark Ages PC Specs
For any set of required specs, including Minimum, DOOM: The Dark Ages will require “a hardware ray tracing-compatible GPU to play on PC.”

Ultra 4K PC Specs:

DOOM: The Dark Ages releases on May 15, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and day one on Game Pass. Players that purchase the ultimate edition will receive two days of early access.
