Battlefront 2 Rules PS4 – GPlayr

Buckle up, kiddos, because Forza Horizon 5 has performed a perfect handbrake turn into a parallel parking manoeuvre at the top of the PS5 charts.

The game already did exceptionally in the April sales charts on PlayStation, despite launching just days before the end of the month, managing to take 1st place in the EU.

Now, though, Sony has released its charts for May and Forza Horizon 5 is at the top of charts for the US/Canada, and the EU. Unfortunately, we don’t have any sales data, although an analytics company estimated 1.4m copies sold by May 9th.

Regardless, it’s impressive to see a former Xbox game doing so well on PlayStation. However, it looks like it’ll probably have that top spot taken away from it, because sitting in 2nd place in the US/Canada, is Elden Ring Nightreign. It also holds the 5th spot in the EU. This is important to note because Nightreign secured these slots despite launching on May 30, giving it just 2 days of sales in which to qualify for the chart. Publisher Bandai Namco has confirmed that Nightreign has already sold over 3.5m copies.

As for the rest of the chart, DOOM: The Dark Ages has debuted in 4th in the US/Canada, and only just made it into the top ten in the EU. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered continues to sell well, as does Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

Here’s something truly fun: following its massive resurgence, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has taken the top spot for PS4 games in May, beating out Red Dead Redemption 2. How incredibly awesome is that!?
