Almost a month ago, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 managed to break its own peak concurrent player record on Steam following a massive resurgence of players, driven by the Resurgence Day event. Said event was Now, though, the game has managed to break its own record yet again.
The catalyst for this latest surge of players is a 90% discount on Steam, bringing the price down to just £3.49. This, and presumably the fact that the game has been back in headlines lately, resulted in a heap of players grabbing a blaster and hopping into the action.
According to SteamDB, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 managed to hit 35,892 concurrent players yesterday, setting a new record in the process. The previous best was set last month when just over 28k players were battling it out for control of the galaxy.
