The open beta for Battlefield 6 is now available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s currently playable for EA Play Pro members and those who registered for Battlefield Labs. However, those who watch an affiliated streamer on Twitch for 30 minutes will also receive access.

As the first new title in the franchise since 2021’s Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 6 returns to a more modern combat setting with NATO battling the mercenary PAX Armada. Players battle across nine maps in classic modes like Conquest, Rush, King of the Hill, Domination, and Breakthrough. There’s also a new mode, Escalation, which is somewhat akin to Conquest but with more close-quarters combat.

The beta will open up for everyone on August 9th and conclude on August 10th. It will then return on August 14th and remain available till the 17th for all platforms.

Battlefield 6 launches on October 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out everything you should know about its features, including Portal. You can also learn more about Battlefield Studios’ plans for a server browser here.
