Avowed’s newest update is live and packs several quality-of-life improvements and features, but there’s more to come. Obsidian Entertainment has released a roadmap for upcoming updates, with the next due this Summer.

It features cooking and crafting improvements, custom map markers (which should pair nicely with the fog of war changes), and new abilities and behaviors for NPCs. Players can also experiment with new active and passive skills alongside new Unique weapons and armor.

The Fall update is even heftier with New Game Plus and Photo Mode. A new weapon type and character presets are also included, and you’ll have more Godlike feature presets when customizing your Envoy.

Stay tuned for more details and release dates for these in the coming months. Avowed is playable on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Obsidian is also working on The Outer Worlds 2. It’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC with a dedicated Direct scheduled for June 8th. Check out some new gameplay here.
