A remastered Dynasty Warriors game and major downloadable content for Dynasty Warriors: Origins are in development, publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force announced.
The new content was announced in a Dynasty Warriors 25th anniversary trailer that premiered at ChinaJoy 2025. The remastered title announcement starts off with the text “Dynasty Warriors 9,” before cycling down each numbered game to “Dynasty Warriors ?,” suggesting that the remastered game will be a mainline entry and not a spin-off.
Details about the major downloadable content for Dynasty Warriors Origins were not announced.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
