Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for week of July 14, 2025 to July 20, 2025.
Donkey Kong Bananza for Switch 2 was the highest selling new game release of the week, opening at 127,905 retail copies sold. Mario Kart World for Switch 2 was still the highest selling overall title last week, however, moving an additional 135,370 units.
On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 152,165 units, the Switch family sold 11,766 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 6,148 units, the Xbox Series family sold 150 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 22 units.
