Famitsu Sales: 6/23/25 – 6/29/25 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for week of June 23, 2025 to June 29, 2025.

Mario Kart World for Switch 2 remained the top seller for the fourth week since its launch, moving an additional 145,069 retail copies.

Tamagotchi Plaza was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 102,289 units on Switch and 26,396 units on Switch 2 for an opening week total of 128,685 retail copies sold.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for PlayStation 5opened at 71,974 retail copies sold.

On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 161,021 units, the Switch family sold 15,323 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 7,333 units, the Xbox Series family sold 353 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 23 units.
