Sands Of Time Remake – GPlayr

The good news: Ubisoft has provided an update on its Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake, a game announced half a decade ago. The bad news: they ain’t saying much.

“Yep, we’re still deep in the game — exploring, building, and ensuring the sands move with purpose,” tweeted out the official Prince of Persia X account.

This update comes a year after the last one where they said pretty much the same thing.

“This game is being crafted by a team that truly cares, and they’re pouring their hearts (and a lot of coffee) into every step.”

While it’s certainly nice to hear that the Sands of Time remake has not vanished into the dunes of cancellation, it’s also disappointing that Ubisoft has nothing else to show us. It has been five years, guys!

Let’s keep things optimistic, though, because according to Ubisoft’s financial call from earlier this year, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is still scheduled for 2026, even despite some of the company’s biggest IP getting pushed back.
