You can never have too many good horror games, and at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, another potentially interesting one was formally unveiled. Publisher Blumhouse Games has revealed Sleep Awake, a so-called psychedelic horror title that is making some interesting promises.
Sleep Awake is being directed by Cory Davis, best known as the co-director of 2012 cult classic third person shooter Spec Ops: The Line, with a soundtrack described as “hypnotic evil” and composed by rock band Nine Inch Nails’ Robin Finck. Sleep Awake sees players stepping into the shoes of Katja, a young woman in the last city on the planet trying to avoid the grim fate known as The Hush, where everyone who goes to sleep disappears. Check out the reveal trailer below.
Sleep Awake is due out sometime in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with wishlisting currently available on Steam. A specific release date hasn’t yet been announced for the horror title.
