It looks like Latin American countries won’t be the only ones affected by a price hike to PlayStation Plus subscriptions. Australia, South Korea, and four countries in the Southeast Asia region (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia) are also getting price hikes for the service.

As caught by Press Start, Australian PlayStation Plus subscribers will see hikes across all tiers, with Essential going up by $1 per month, Extra and Deluxe both going up by $2 per month.

This means that a one-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Essential will be now be priced at $12.95 AUD. 3 months will go up to $35.95 AUD, while 12 months will go up to $102.95 AUD.

For PlayStation Plus Extra, a single month will cost $20.95 AUD, 3 months will cost $59.95 AUD, and 12 months will cost $187.95 AUD. PlayStation Plus Deluxe’s 1-month subscription will climb up to $23.95 AUD. 3 months will cost $70.95 AUD, and 12 months will cost $214.95 AUD.

For South Korean PlayStation users, PlayStation Plus Essential will now cost 10,800 won for a single month, 28,400 won for 3 months, and 86,400 won for 12 months. PS Plus Extra will cost 16,200 won for a month, 46,000 won for 3 months, and 145,800 won for 12 months.

PlayStation Plus Deluxe will be priced at 19,000 won for a single month, 54,000 won for 3 months, and 171,000 won for 12 months.

As for the Southeast Asia region, the price for PS Plus Essential will now be SGD 10.90 / RM 35 / THB 270 / Rp 126,000 for one month, SGD 28.90 / RM 95 / THB 720 / Rp 331,000 for 3 months, and SGD 88.90 / RM 285 / THB 2,200 / Rp 1,010,000 for 12 months.

    PS Plus Extra in the region will cost SGD 15.90 / RM 55 / THB 410 / Rp 189,000 for one month, SGD 44.90 / RM 155 / THB 1,170 / Rp 536,000 for three months, and SGD 142.90 / RM 490 / THB 3,720 / Rp 1,710,000 for 12 months.

    PS Plus Deluxe will cost SGD 18.90 / RM 65 / THB 480 / Rp 221,000 for a single month, SGD 53.90 / RM 185 / THB 1,380 / Rp 632,000 for 3 months, and SGD 169.90 / RM 575 / THB 4,350 / Rp 1,990,000 for 12 months.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog announcing the raised prices, Sony says that the decision was made due to impact by global market conditions. As is the case with the Latin American price hikes, these new prices across all regions will go live on April 16 onwards.

“Like many businesses around the world, we continue to be impacted by global market conditions and will be adjusting our local prices for PlayStation Plus,” wrote the company on the PS Blog. “This price adjustment will enable us to continue bringing high-quality games and value-added benefits to your PlayStation Plus subscription service.”

PlayStation users with ongoing subscriptions won’t have to worry about the new prices until their next billing cycle on or after June 24. Making changes to the subscription, however, will take the new prices into account.
