Publisher AOE Plus and developer The Droplet Studio will release farming life simulation game Song of the Prairie for PlayStation 5 on April 12, the companies announced. Xbox Series and “other consoles” will follow at a later date.
Song of the Prairie first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on April 6, 2023, followed by a full release on July 31, 2024.
Outside of the PlayStation 5 release date, AOE Plus shared the following plans for future updates:
- Third-Year Main Story Localization – Development continues for Song of the Prairie. While we previously released the third-year main story content, the localization process (due to extensive text) will follow in the next major update. Thank you for your patience and support!
- Marriage System – In response to overwhelming requests, we’ve added same-sex marriage options—a promise we made to players earlier. Hoping you would enjoy it!
- Nat’s Storyline – We’ve received countless messages about Nat’s story. Leaving him indefinitely in the cabin outside town felt… well, unfair to his dashing self! The next major update will expand Nat’s character, and of course, including marriage content. But his Inner Space remains in planning stages.

Song of the Prairie is a 3D farming game. The prairie town at the end of the continent blessed by the remaining grace of Goddess, which makes this land far away from strife and brings enrichment.

- Friendly Neighborhood – Be forgotten Prairie town have 24 characters to deeply explore. Every character has a unique personality. Have their good feeling, open their heart, ask out to date, maybe one of them could company you in your life.
- Inner Space, Get Into Their Hearts – Inner Space is a very uniqe idea in game. What’s her/his favorate? What’s her/his past? What does she/he think about future? You could find answers in Inner Space.
