Publisher Kakehashi Games and developer Bandai Namco Studios Singapore have released a new trailer for action platformer Hirogami introducing some of the game’s characters.
Hiro will meet each of these characters on the journey to save their fragile origami world, and by rescuing them from a mysterious digital Blight, Hiro is able to unlock unique traversal and combat abilities.
Characters and unlockable abilities showcased in the trailer include:
- Ama Jii – The revered elder armadillo.
- As a hardy armadillo, Hiro can roll through barriers and enemies alike—and can fire out of cannons to reach new areas
- Bingley – The distinguished gentleman frog.
- As a nimble frog, Hiro can jump higher or slow down enemies or contraptions with intoxicating spit.
- Shaan Ti – The fearless mighty ape.
- As a mighty Ape, Hiro can dish out a combo of sweeping attacks, swing from vines and pound the ground to scatter enemies.
Hirogami is due out for PC via Steam in 2025.
