Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Developer is “Working on Some Pretty Cool Things”

Having enjoyed widespread critical acclaim and amassed over 4 million players, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been quite the success for MachineGames, Bethesda, and Xbox. Of course, work is underway on The Order of Giants, the action-adventure title’s post-launch expansion- but what else does MachineGames have in the pipeline?

With The Great Circle barely a couple of months old, details on that front are scarce, but it looks like the studio is getting started on its next project. That’s as per Nicole Åkerlid, associate HR generalist at MachineGames, who teased “some pretty cool things” at the studio in a post on Linkedin calling for job applicants.

“We are working on some pretty cool things here after the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle here in December, and we want more people to join us in this next chapter of ours,” she wrote.

Given the success that The Great Circle has enjoyed, one would assume that MachineGames will move straight on to another Indiana Jones game. Sure enough, leaks have claimed that more Indy titles are indeed in the works. Lucasfilm Games has also called the potential for sequels to The Great Circle “super interesting”.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC. It launches for PS5 this Spring.
