    Sonic Wings Reunion adds PS4 version; debut trailer

    Publisher SUCCESS Corporation and developer Hamster Corporation have released the first trailer for shoot ’em up game Sonic Wings Reunion, as well as announced that it will launch for PlayStation 4 alongside its previously announced PlayStation 5, Switch, PC (Steam), and arcade versions on May 29.

    In Japan, the PlayStation 5 and Switch versions will be available both physically and digitally, while the PlayStation 4 version will be digital-only. The game will support English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.

    In the year 20XX, cities around the world were attacked.

    The mysterious organization “Fata Morgana,” which possesses superweapons and controls the world’s military arsenal with unknown technology, has returned.

    The international secret rescue team “Project Blue,” a group of sky-riding knights, stands up against this global threat.

    What awaits them as they take the fight to a powerful enemy for various reasons? ……!

    Sonic Wings Reunion is a sequel to the arcade-style shooter Sonic Wings. The previous version was sold in 1998.

    Choose from eight characters and destroy the mysterious organization “Fata Morgana” that has progressed into the modern world. The scenario changes depending on the combination of characters.

    Key Features

    • Eight initial characters, with hidden characters unlocked under certain conditions.
    • Eight stages (including bonus stages) to fight in cities and locations in the modern world.
    • Eight stages (including bonus stages) in which players fight in cities and locations in the modern world.
    • Giant futuristic weapons from the original game.
    • Local cooperative play is supported. Conversation scenarios change with cooperative play.
    • The co-op scenarios can be enjoyed in single-player mode as well.
    • Three sound modes are available.
    • The original sound mode is composed by Sonic Wings series sound composer Soshi Hosoi.
    • In the Arrange Sound Mode, the music of previous titles is completely arranged by Japan’s most renowned sound creator. The user can set the music to be played.
    • In Mao Mao mode, Mao Mao’s song is played as background music.
    • The user can select the level of difficulty, invincibility mode, practice mode, and other detailed settings.
    • Support for achievements, leaderboards, and cloud saving.
