Total sales for action adventure game Control have surpassed 4.5 million units, developer Remedy Entertainment announced during its Capital Markets Day 2024 presentation. Over 19 million users have played the game.
Control launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store on August 27, 2019, followed by PC via Steam on August 27, 2020, Switch (cloud) and Luna on October 30, 2020, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on February 2, 2021, and Stadia on July 27, 2021.
